The property has a "big nature" feel, with miles of hiking trails straight off the grounds, the distant sound of a rushing river, strong mountaintop breezes, brilliant star-filled nights, lichen-covered trees and boulders, and dramatic views of forever wild mountains. The house has three outdoor spaces to take in the nature, with plenty of comfortable places to sit in sun or shade at all times of the day.
