The Great Room and Den
The great room is the most stunning feature of Quiet Summit House, with a prow wall of glass 22 feet wide and 17 feet high that looks out fifty miles across mountains and valleys. Heavy pine cross beams and posts, along with extensive cedar woodwork, give the room a lodge-like feeling. Bronze Arroyo wall sconces and chandaliers can be dimmed to create the perfect ambience. In winter, the wood stove keeps the entire room toasty warm. In summer, glass doors lead out to two spacious decks. An adjoining den can serve as a comfortable media room or office.
